Rob Bickley

Rob is a Double Bassist and music educator focused on jazz and community engagement. Rob holds a B.M from Michigan State University and M.M from the Juilliard School.

Rob has performed with such musicians as Rick Roe, Frank Wess, Brian Lynch, and Frank Kimbrough. 

In addition to performing Rob is a dedicated educator and composer. His interest in community outreach began while working as a mentor through the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Civic Music Program. Rob continued this work while studying at The Juilliard School in their outreach programs and performed as a teaching artist for Jazz @ Lincolnc Center's Jazz for Young People Concerts. Rob also taught orchestra at St. Ann's School in Manhattan, New York.

Rob teaches students of all ages and abilities and can be heard playing at Raven's Club in Ann Arbor, Mi on Monday evenings. 

Rob lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan with his wife, Molly and cat, Booker.
